ABOUT ME
Welcome to my artist profile! I've grown up and spent most of my life in Cheshire, Connecticut. Started college down at College of Charleston, SC, and once COVID hit transferred to Central Connecticut State University where I continued five years of undergrad as a part time student. Graduated CCSU in May of 2026 with a B.A. in Art, with a focus in ceramic sculpture.
Along with ceramics, I also have a passion for photography and drawing.
When it comes to drawing I enjoy working with charcoal, where most artists find charcoal to be a very messy medium, I enjoy the unpredictability of a charcoal mess and the range of values you can accomplish.
I've taken four photography courses within my times at CofC and CCSU, one film and three digital and I've found a hidden love for micro and abstract photography.
Other than art, I have an intense love for nature and being outdoors. When it's nice out and I have free time I'm almost always hiking! I'm big into collecting rocks, crystals and minerals as well. I see nature as an infinite source of inspiration for artists like myself. There's so much beauty to find out in nature if we just take the time to look at it. My passions for ceramics and nature definitely are intertwined in certain aspects. I just like to get messy!
